Kirti Deshpande
English and French Language, Project-Based Learning
My passion for education and creativity has brought me to UnSchool, where I’ve been a dedicated educator for the past 5-6 years. With a BA in both English and French, my academic background prepared me for my teaching journey, including two enriching years at Indira National School.
I believe that learning should happen in a fun and engaging environment, where students feel safe to make mistakes and learn from them. This philosophy guides my approach at UnSchool, where I strive to create a vibrant and supportive learning atmosphere.
As a certified project-based learning educator, I’ve had the pleasure of contributing to UnSchool’s innovative approach to education. I serve as a faculty advisor for interest-based projects and mentor English and French language projects, allowing me to connect with students and help them explore their passions.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy art and craft, photography, and planning and management. These interests not only enrich my personal life but also inspire my teaching methodology, infusing creativity and enthusiasm into my classroom.
I joined UnSchool because I believe that education needs a change, and I wanted to be part of a team that thinks differently. Here, I found a community that shares my vision and values, and I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact on our students’ lives.
