Board Certification Pathways
At Unschool, students can choose to pursue board certification through two distinct pathways: the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE).
For the NIOS pathway, Unschool’s facilitators guide students through NIOS-specific curriculum in addition to their regular coursework. NIOS’s inclusive approach caters to various educational needs, and Unschool assists with enrollment and exam preparations at certified centers.
The IGCSE pathway offers a globally recognized curriculum with over 70 subjects, including 30 languages. This pathway is ideal for students seeking international exposure and skill development in critical thinking. Unschool ensures curriculum alignment and supports students and parents in coordinating with IGCSE-affiliated schools for board examinations.
Both pathways reflect Unschool’s vision of a flexible, independent educational model, empowering students in their future pursuits, whether in higher education, entrepreneurship, or professional fields. Unschool’s dedication to nurturing entrepreneurial skills, global citizenship, and creativity prepares graduates for a dynamic, diverse future.
